HYD for Men

HYD for Men is a new cruelty free line of men’s grooming products. I recently test drove some of the products with my boyfriend’s assistance. πŸ™‚

HYD Shave Cream hydrates and rejuvenates your skin by minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The blend of natural oils and moisturizers allows your razor to glide effortlessly across your skin, reducing friction and irritation. If you’re used to major lather, this will be quite a different experience. The low lather formula is designed to provide superior coverage while using less shave cream. As a result, your razor will perform better and your blades won’t clog from excess shave cream. Not just for men! Women can use this as well for a close, stubble-free shave.

The HYD Buffer Stick is like a one-step microdermabrasion treatment. The Buffer Stick offers instant results with no pain or irritation, increased absorption of your skin care products and minimizes the appearance of dark spots and fine lines. Add to your man’s grooming routine to hydrate his skin and gently remove dead skin cells while fighting ingrown hairs. This is a pretty intense exfoliator – probably best left for men (who have thicker skin).

To use: wet clean face with water. Wet stick, press onto skin and move in circular motion for 30-60 seconds across face. Rinse clean with warm water. Use once per week to start and increase treatment as needed.

HYD Razor Shield saves your razors and makes them last longer! The combination of natural oils and tea tree oil creates a liquid barrier, protecting razor blades from the corrosive chemical reactions that dull blades and make shaving uncomfortable.

To use: Apply directly onto blade after each shave. Store in normal conditions. Complement with HYD Shave Cream for optimal results. Not for use on electric razors.

Again – this one is great for men AND women. Why buy new razors all the time when you can make them last much longer? It’s eco-friendly and easy on your wallet! HYD says you can save over $100 a year, depending on what type of blades you normally use.

Two billion razor blades are thrown into landfills each year, resulting in two million pounds of plastic waste annually. The average male uses one razor blade per week, that’s four blades per month. Razor Shield reduces the amount of waste by taking three of those blades out of the equation.

Applying Razor Shield after each shave will allow your man’s favorite razor blade to last up to one full month, which means you’re only using 12 blades a year instead of 52. Now that’s how you save the planet, one shave at a time.
