Thursdays with Cheeky Rox: Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks Review and Swatches

Whenever I see an Instagram post or YouTube video featuring Jeffree Star Cosmetics, I’m always in awe. The products look super pigmented and it seems like the cruelty-free and vegan cosmetics line is ever-expanding! Jeffree Star recently released two brand new shades of his extensive line of Velour Liquid Lipsticks so I thought it was the perfect time to try them out!

The two new shades are called:

MBB Jeffree Star Liquid Lipstick SwatchesMannequin is a neutral nude. It’s a medium shade of nude with a slightly cool undertone. I really love this shade! It is completely opaque with just one coat and it has such a beautiful tone. I think this may be my new go-to nude liquid lipstick!

I would describe Rose Matter as a petal pink shade. It’s bright and fun but has a slightly warm coral undertone which makes it very wearable. I can totally see myself wearing this shade a lot during the summertime!

Not only are the two new shades gorgeous, I’m really impressed with the formula of the Velour Liquid Lipsticks. They have a liquid-like texture when I first apply them, but within a few moments they’re completely matte. These liquid lipsticks don’t make my lips feel dry or cracked at all which is amazing! It just feels like I’m wearing a soft velvety lipstick. Also, the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks are extremely long wearing. I was amazed that by the end of the day my liquid lipstick looked exactly like it had when I first applied. Plus – did I mention that along with being cruelty free and vegan, they’re also free of parabens and gluten!

I love these two shades and I can’t wait for Jeffree Star to come out with more! If you want to learn more about the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks, just watch my video review and try-on swatches on My Beauty Bunny’s YouTube channel!
