Murad Pore Reform Review

Got blackheads and acne that just won’t go away? Give Murad a try! Their cruelty free Pore Reform line has everything you need to get clear skin.

Start with the Daily Cleansing Foam to clean out those pores. It was developed for oily or combination skin to help reduce the occurrence of shine, blackheads, clogged pores and large pores. Using alpha hydroxy acids and antioxidant-rich pomegranate extract, this daily cleanser leaves skin healthy instead of stripped of essential oils.

Dab the T Zone Pore Refining Serum on your t-zone (forehead, nose and chin) after cleansing. It’s no joke – a very strong mix of glycolic acid, salicylic acid, retinol and pomegranate extract that exfoliates and balances oil production.

The Blackhead and Pore Clearing Duo is a 2-piece set that comes with a volcanic mineral clay and shikakai extract clearing mask and a salicylic acid based “sealer.” The Pore Refining Sealer is actually my favorite product of the line. It’s light enough that I have been using it daily before my moisturizer.

Finally, the Balancing Moisture Cream (SPF 15) is a great daily moisturizer made for oily skin. Most moisturizers with SPF make me break out, so I appreciate that this is a light SPF. If you are going to be using AHAs and whatnot, you’ll need to protect your skin. I don’t get out much, so I don’t need a heavy SPF, but when I do go outside for any length of time, I use something a little heavier (like SPF 30).

You might need the whole line, or if you’re more sensitive, you might start with just one or two of these potent products to see how they do. The Blackhead and Pore Cleansing Duo is a good place to start if you’re new to the line.
