NEW elf Cosmetics Store in Los Angeles!
Reason number 170,615 why I can’t ever leave Los Angeles – so many great places to shop! And now – a new one to add to my list – the e.l.f. Cosmetics store at the Westfield Fashion Square in Los Angeles (Sherman Oaks). I was invited to their grand opening event yesterday (hosted by the always fabulous Laura Lee).
The e.l.f. grand opening attracted several of my beauty blogging buds – it was so great to see everyone! I was impressed by the high-end feel of the store. It was decked out with LED screens and chandeliers, and e.l.f. products from wall to wall. I was shocked at how many products e.l.f. actually has since Target only stocks a portion of their products. The new store also has a middle section to sit and #playbeautifully with the products, which I thought was very cool. The products are very reasonably priced, but even still, it’s nice to be able to try testers and experiment with the colors before buying.
I took home lots of cruelty-free e.l.f. products, so I’ll have lots of reviews coming your way soon! But first, I wanted to share these beautiful lipsticks – look at the pigmentation on these!
I tried the elf Moisturizing Lipstick in Velvet Rope – a beautiful, wearable, warm red. And, two from the elf Velvet Matte collection – Bold Berry (a deep berry shade) and Flirty Flamingo (a muted pink-y red shade that I’m obsessed with and will be wearing everywhere). I also tried one from the Beautifully Bare collection – a sheer shade in Touch of Pink (this is one I’ll be wearing a lot – especially on days when I don’t feel like wearing a bright lip), and finally the elf Matte Lip Color in Tea Rose. The Tea Rose is a gorgeous shade, but very sheer – for a matte, that was kind of surprising.
At $3 – $5 a pop for these lippies, plus tons of cosmetics and skincare at VERY reasonable prices, you can seriously go nuts at the new e.l.f. store in Los Angeles!
