So – I have an ongoing “crush” on this brand. Every time I see a 100% Pure product in an ad or in a store, I get a feeling of excitement. Why? Because everything I have tried from this brand has been amazing! It started with a bar of peach soap that I got at Expo West. The more I looked into the brand, the more I felt a kinship. All 100% Pure products are free of synthetic chemicals, artificial fragrances, chemical preservatives and petrochemicals. I love the products, the packaging, the cruelty-free and vegetarian/vegan message (most products are vegan and all are veg) and even the fact that they support Leaping Bunny, PETA and several animal rescues. Clearly this is a brand after my own heart!
During my recent trip to New York, I found a huge 100% Pure display at Duane Reade and I bought an eyeshadow (Pewter), Purify Facial Cleanser + Mask and Mint White Tea Moisturizer. I have combination skin, and these products are perfect.
The Purify Facial Cleanser + Mask has aloe as the first ingredient (not water like many products). It also contains essential oils, red algae, kelp, spirulina, organic green tea, hemp seed, coconut oil, sea buckthorn, calendula, thyme, sage, goldenseal, burdock, tea tree, parsley, eucalyptus, peppermint and more. The eucalyptus and peppermint essential oils give it a nice cooling feeling. You can leave it on as a mask or wash it off immediately after applying. It’s not harsh, but it deep cleans your skin without stripping.
The Mint White Tea Moisturizer is perfect for combination to oily skin. Again, aloe is the first ingredient. It also has rosewater, pomegranate, organic white tea, calendula, licorice (great for fading dark spots), chamomile, rosemary, sage, lemongrass, nettle, lemon balm, tea tree and peppermint oil. It’s truly refreshing and doesn’t clog pores. Win!
The eyeshadow I bought (Pewter) is a shimmery charcoal. It’s 100% vegan and gluten free. It’s colored with antioxidant and vitamin rich fruit pigments instead of minerals or synthetic dyes. It even has Vitamin E, rosehip oil, avocado butter, cocoa butter, red win resveratrol, pomegranate seed oil, black tea, Vit A and Vit C! What other makeup line has all that? Plus, it’s very heavily pigmented and goes on like a dream. I actually got several compliments while I was wearing it in NYC.
The products are very reasonably priced (most are in the $10-$20 range) and I seriously can’t find anything not to love! Have you tried any 100% Pure products? Let me know what you thought in the comments below!

100% Pure has the SOFTEST brushes I’ve ever felt! I have their kabuki brush and I swear it feels like a teddy bear (or something equally as soft). It’s outrageous! I haven’t had the best of luck with their makeup but it’s been awhile since I’ve tried anything from the brand so I may have to try it again 🙂

I’ve been wanting to checkout their coffee under-eye circle cream and their lip/cheek tints for a while. I’ve just haven’t seen them in person yet, although I’m sure there must be some retailers in LA somewhere.

I love them too! So sad for them-I like to try before I buy (can’t stand returning things) and they aren’t in any stores in SoCal near me (or SoCal at all, from what I could tell!) they used to be at Bath & Bodyworks before B&B went back to all of their own ‘regular’ lines, but alas, no more…

Love the color of the shadow. The Purify facial cleaner and mask sounds wonderful, glad it contains aloe as the first ingredient as compared to water.

That eyeshadow color is gorgeous! I don’t think I’ve ever seen 100% pure around here, but I’ll have to keep an eye out!

Thank you for sharing this! Given this is free from synthetic material, this is 100% safe! The Mint White Tea Moisturizer for oily skin will be a great find for beauty enthusiasts.

I love 100 Percent Pure! They have such wonderful products! My favorites have got to be the primer and tinted moisturizer! But now I am getting really into their strawberry cheek/lip tint and mascara as well. I have been branching out more and more and started to try shampoos, soaps and deodorant too. All have been really nice with the exception of deodorant. The day that Eco Deodorants start to work, may be the greatest day of my life! 🙂 -Alexandra

I love love love this brand! Recently they stopped selling it over here in Japan and I’m running out of supplies. Does anyone know where I could order online? The company’s online store doesn’t ship here either :((((
