100 % Pure Organic Rose Hydrosol Review

100% Percent Pure is one of those brands that never fail to amaze me. I have had the luxury of trying a few of their products and have found that I love them all. I’m still telling people about their mascara that I’ve been using lately. It’s really great when a brand is able to make products that work well, but are also good for you and the environment. They are of course, cruelty-free, and donate towards animal causes (awwwwww!)

Today I bring you 100% Pure Organic Rose Hydrasol. Honestly, before receiving this product I have never tried using a hydrasol before– I just never knew the purpose of it! Now that I have used one, I see what the big cheese is! Maybe you are in the same boat as I, asking yourself what a hydrasol is anyways? Hydrasols allow very low concentrations of essential oils to be dispersed in water. All the goodness, but at a milder level!

This particular one has organic rose essential oil in it which is great for hydrating and soothing all skin types.  I absolutely love the beautiful scent of it which is light, but dissipates mostly after applying. When I spritz the back of my hands or wrists I can smell it slightly if I get real close which means it works as a very light body scent as well!

I use the hydrasol in two ways. One way is after I cleanse my face. After exfoliating and cleansing I actually take a cotton pad and wipe the hydrasol all over my face and neck. I could spritz it, but I like to use the cotton pad just in case I can wipe off any additional hidden makeup off in the process while leaving my skin feeling refreshed and slightly moisturized.

Second, I use this after applying a full face of makeup for an added dose of moisture. The fine mist does not mess with makeup and feels great! You can also use it as a makeup refresher which I would TOTALLY do if I remembered to do it all all!

If I could choose another hydrasol to try next it would definitely be the jasmine-green tea version. I love the scent of jasmine anything and green tea is so good for the skin with all its antioxidants.
