Poppy Lip & Cheek Stain
Three Custom Color Specialists is an amazing cruelty free brand that wasn’t really on my radar until recently. They have a huge library of color cosmetics, but they can also MAKE ANY SHADE YOU WANT. So, if your favorite shade of lipstick (or any type of makeup) is discontinued, just send them a small chunk and they’ll match the shade and the consistency in their NYC laboratory. They also have a huge discontinued makeup archive where you can search for shades that you thought you’d never see again.
Their Poppy Lip & Cheek Stain, created by celebrity makeup artist, James Vincent, is one of my favorite daytime Summer colors. It look BRIGHT orange in the package, but it’s actually super-sheer so it looks like a nice warm coral on lips and cheeks. It’s a neutral orange – not too much on either the cool or warm side so anyone can wear it. It’s not sticky at all and you don’t feel like you’re wearing something heavy on your lips (or cheeks). Definitely one to check out!
