3LAB Ginseng Skin Care Collection

A couple of quarters ago in school I was turned on to the very real methods and ideas of Eastern medicine, so I was very excited to review the 3LAB’s new Ginseng Skin Care Collection.

3LAB is a labor of love to create the perfect anti-aging skin care collection that was created by husband and wife, Erica and David Chung. 3LAB uses plant stem cell technology to help delay the signs of aging and encourage the growth of healthy tissue and cells.

The new Ginseng Skin Care Collection includes The Cream, The Eye Cream, and The Serum.  This new line is designed to perfect skin tone and texture and revitalize the skin at any age and is appropriate for all skin types.

I tried all three of these products together as part of my nightly skincare regimen.

I liked The Serum; it was light and a little of it goes a long way. My skin immediately absorbed this and there was no nasty residue left afterwards (perfect for putting the cream on next!)

I have to say, I am very wary of creams. I don’t often feel that my skin needs really heavy creams, and 3LAB’s The Cream looked to be a pretty thick cream! Well, ladies and gents, never judge a book by its cover. Upon dipping my little spatula into the jar I found that this isn’t a heavy cream, rather it has a whipped texture to it and was very light. Heeeeeello Heaven! I applied a thin, even layer of this and I could practically feel my skin smiling. It was so soothing and wasn’t heavy or oily. Again, a little went a long way! I love it!

Lastly, The Eye Cream. As opposed to the way I like my face creams, I prefer my eye creams to be a real cream. I want it to be thick and full of wonderful nutrients for the sensitive skin around my eyes. So, to my delight, when I opened the jar of The Eye Cream, I found that 3LAB’s Eye Cream was a true thick, heavy, cream. A little went a long way, and I dabbed this under my eyes, in the outer corners, and a little just above my eyes.

Let’s just say I went to sleep last night with my face feeling like I had just had a facial. These products are amazing, and I can fully understand why celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Christina Hendricks love their 3LAB products.
