Urban Decay’s Vegan Palette

Luckily, there is nothing decaying in the Vegan Palette’s eyeshadows. Urban Decay, a brand that is pioneering cruelty free beauty, has created its first ever vegan palette. Though the Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Sin is not vegan, the six colors in the palette are and they are to die for. With three neutral and three bold colors, the palette is truly versatile. You can create a colorful smokey eye or stay neutral at your next holiday event. Also, the palette’s unique and creative design covered with animals will delight and inspire the gift receiver. More than just pretty pictures of animals, the Vegan Palette is approved by the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC), People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and Marley (Urban Decay’s own purple paw print indicating that it is a vegan certified cosmetic).

Wink Marker Pen

Barry M’s Wink Marker has all of the benefits of MAC Cosmetic’s Wonder Woman Penultimate Eyeliner and it’s the perfect product for cruelty free beauty. This black marker pen for the eyes is chunky enough to make as bold of a statement on your eyes as you would like. The marker gives you the control to make flicks on your eyeliner or a seductive cat eye. The eyeliner dries in seconds and will last you through the holiday night. It’s the perfect size and shape to keep in your bag and it comes in an adorable pink tube.

Manic Panic’s Raven Mascara (Black)

Although Tish & Snooky’s Manic Panic is known for its rockstar/biker-chic glamour, the brand’s “Creature of the Night” collection boasts being cruelty free and vegan. Raven Mascara in black from the collection adds edge to any holiday look. Though the mascara is bold like a raven, it will not clump, smudge or flake. Feel free to get emotional during the holidays with this mascara. While bold, the mascara is luxurious and rich with Provitamin B5 and Brazilian palm tree oil. Use this mascara to make a sultry smokey eye or bring out the whiteness of your eyes and be a hit at the next holiday party.

Pacifica’s Color Quench Lip Tint in Blood Orange

With all vegan packaging and ingredients, Pacifica’s Color Quench Lip Tint in Blood Orange will make you want to go on an exotic holiday. The lip tint’s sweet coral color with pops of pink puts a new spin on the classic red lip for the holidays. Using essential fatty acids from avocados and coconut oils, the tint will keep your lips moisturized and kissable all night. Best of all, it will keep your lips healthy since this tint has no phthalates, parabens, mineral oils, GMOs, triclosan, propylene glycol and petroleum. Whether you’re trying to balance your smokey eye or going for a more natural look, the lip tint in blood orange is a must come mistletoe time.

SpaRitual’s Wilde Collection

The Wilde Collection from SpaRitual is the brand’s top 2011 fall picks. Like the rest of the brand’s nail lacquers and nail elixirs, the Wilde Collection is one hundred percent free of DBP, formaldehyde and toluene and one hundred percent vegan. The colors of this collection are so versatile that they can be worn year-round. The colors range from a deep red that is perfect for the holiday (“Spirit Child”) to a teal-turquoise color (“Rhythm of Life”) for a cooler look. The colors “Running with Wolves” and “Sacred Ground” have hints of glamour with the extra swirls of glitter and shimmer. “Howl” and “Instinct” would be perfect non-traditional, yet stunning, colors. SpaRitual’s own unique philosophy make it a great holiday gift for the more spiritual person in your life. The company fuses color therapy and numerology to create a balanced experience that is beyond painting your nails. SpaRitual is renowned for its quality vegan products, its commitment to being cruelty free, and its eco-chic packaging.

A vegetarian since she was eight, Jessica R. is a lifetime animal lover and activist. Even though Jessica studied nothing practical (anthropology, geography and art history), she always knew she wanted to make her world a little more beautiful and a little better for everything in it; rocking being a cruelty-free beauty, writing about her passions and being certified grant writer are doing just that. Her loves are her pair-bonded kitties, eyeliners that channel Cleopatra, berry lipsticks and glitter!
