Aqua Therapy Dead Sea Mineral Soap
During summer 2013, I had the trip of a lifetime. I went on a ten-day journey across my homeland, Israel. One of the most memorable experiences I had on that trip was visiting The Dead Sea. Being one of the Seven Wonders of the World, I was totally excited to finally go there. I took off my shirt and walked in the water, one word: painful. I don’t know what I was expecting from a large body of water filled with salt. However, after having the dead sea minerals and salt tear through my cuts and acne-prone skin, I rubbed dirt over my body until I looked like someone dipped me into the ground. I washed it off and could immediately see the difference in my skin. I could see the difference in my skin tone because it took of all my dead skin.
Now, flash forward to summer 2014 when I came across Aqua Therapy Dead Sea Mineral Soap. Personally, I do not like soap bars. I hate it when they sit in the soap tray and get soggy from the unwanted water that it’s laying in. After being soaked in water, you rub it all over your skin and then some places feel heavy and then other areas feel normal. It’s just an uncool mess that’s waiting to happen. However, with my Dead Sea experience in the back of my head, when getting this product in my hands, I had to give it a chance.
This product isn’t marked specifically for acne nevertheless it does the job! Enriched with Dead Sea Minerals based on natural active ingredients as balancing minerals from the Dead Sea, this product feels great on your skin! It doesn’t leave any residue after washing your face. Also, since it is soapless, it causes no bubbles and doesn’t go everywhere. It actually stays on your skin! I also appreciate how there is no smell with this soap.
Personally, I always wash my face with acne products in the shower. It’s much more easier for me to keep everything cleaner. I washed my face with warm water and rubbed the bar around my face. I waited for about a minute (a personal trick of mine) and then washed it off. After a week of using this product, I totally saw a difference. My face was super clear and only had a few blemishes hear and there.
The only con with this product that I experienced with this product was that it dried out my skin at times. However, my skin was dry to begin with. In the end, my moisturizer fixed my issue and I was extremely pleasant with this overall product! It’s all the joy of the Dead Sea without the burning sensation!
