A while back I was introduced to Aubrey Organics and I had the opportunity to try out the Organic Green Tea line. I love green tea and only recently became aware of how great it can be in skincare products. Green tea is a powerful antioxidant so it’s really cool to see an entire collection of products made with green tea.
Green Tea Clarifying Shampoo
$10 for 11 oz.
This fast-acting clarifying shampoo deep-cleanses with just one application and rinses clean to leave hair shiny, bouncy and full. Herbal extracts deliver beneficial nutrients quickly and reduce drying time for fast and easy styling.
Key Ingredients:
- Organic green tea & nettle extract – fast nutrient delivery, protects hair and tones scalp
- Organic aloe vera – replenishes moisture
- Almond protein – strengthens hair fiber, restores fullness & manageability
I only wash my hair every 5 to 7 days, and I do not have oily hair. I only use clarifying shampoo once in a while, to remove buildup after a particularly heavy week of product use, usually right before I dye my hair. I did enjoy using it and I felt it did an exceptionally nice job of removing buildup. My husband, who has oily hair, really likes it. I think this is definitely a great clarifying shampoo.
Green Tea and Green Clay Mask
$9.43 for 4 oz.
Invigorating antioxidant mask helps draw out impurities with green clay and natural fruit acids to leave dull, dehydrated skin renewed and refreshed.
Key Ingredients:
- Organic matcha green tea – soothes and protects
- Kaolin, green clay & red fruit acids – draw out impurities; exfoliate & renew skin
I felt like the mask left my skin feeling very soft and smooth. I really need to use masks more often!
Green Tea and Ginkgo Facial Cleansing Lotion
$15.98 for 8 oz.
Invigorating formula gently dissolves makeup residue and debris with a mild coconut oil-corn oil soap blend, and protects skin as it cleanses, leaving the complexion fresh and radiant.
Key Ingredients:
- Organic green tea – Protects with antioxidant action; calms and balances
- Ginkgo biloba – Invigorates for a rosy glow; calms and balances
- Organic aloe & jojoba oil – Restore moisture balance; soothe and condition
I didn’t really care for the cleanser. It didn’t easily remove my makeup, though it didn’t irritate my skin.
Green Tea and Gingko Facial Toner
$9.92 for 8 oz.
Revitalizing toner is the answer to dull, lackluster skin. Cooling formula refreshes and conditions and leaves skin clear and smooth for better absorption of a moisturizer.
Key Ingredients:
- Organic green tea – Protects with antioxidant action; calms and balances
- Ginkgo biloba – Invigorates for a rosy glow; calms and balances
- Other organic herbals (Rosa Mosqueta®, Lavender, Camomile, Nettle) – Maintain moisture balance; soothe & tone
Now, I will be the first to admit that I am not a toner girl (I’m a serum lover), but I did like this toner! I’ve reached for it a ton! I’ve actually used it after cleansing to remove any excess makeup residue. It works well.
If you’re looking for a nice organic product line with powerful antioxidants, Aubrey Organics may be just what you’re looking for.
