Bath Treats for all you Cat Lovers!

in Body, Skin on 08/05/12

By Abi Mogge: Staff Writer

This being a blog for animal lovers, I’m going to go ahead and guess that there are LOTS of cat ladies among our readers. Nothing wrong with that! I’m a proud CCL (crazy cat lady) myself and love anything to do with my feline friends; from watching cats prance around on youtube to having long, intellectual conversations with Biscuit, my own darling kitty.

So imagine my profound delight when I had the chance to try some bath and body products from Honeycat Cosmetics, a cruelty free line that uses natural, moisturizing ingredients, and is free from preservatives. What do you look for in a bath product? High quality, natural ingredients? Cute packaging? Whimsical product names? I may have found the perfect bath goodies for you.

Frisky Kitty Bath Fizzy

I LOVE this one for the scent. My skin was super soft without being greasy and it smelled like rose and lemongrass. This bath ball contains sweet almond oil, shea butter, aloe vera, cocoa butter, and has a little rosebud in the center.

Chick of the Sea Foaming Bath Crystals

Smells like chocolate and raspberries with a hint of mint. Great for sore muscles. Comes in a ‘sardine’ tin. Fun. Whimsy. Bubbles. Cutest. Product. Ever.

Warm Milk Martini

A powdered milk bath containing coconut milk powder, honey powder, yogurt milk powder, and skin softening goats milk proteins, as well as vitamin E and shea butter. Smells a bit like frosting, but not in an overly sweet way. Warm Milk Martini is perfect for a cozy hot bath on a cold winter night.

Coquito Bath Stuff

A bubble bath containing aloe, shea butter, macadamia oil – Coconut, milk, honey, and a hint of rum give a warm, spicy scent to these bubbles.

Chocolate Bath Melt Treats

Chocolate scented squares of mango butter, cocoa butter, and aloe vera. Very decadent and moisturizing.

I’m in Heat Whisker Slickers

Cute, spicy lip balm enriched with Vitamin E. Free of animal products and petroleum. Cinnamon and Ginger flavor.

Cat on a Hot Tin Candle

A soy candle with a coconut + mango scent.  Perfect for setting the mood for bathtime relaxation…or frisky, sudsy fun…whatever you fancy!

Don’t you love the product names?! They had me laughing out loud, and the product descriptions are clever as well. But most importantly, these bath treats are effective. No matter which I used, my skin always felt clean and softer than before. None of the products are irritating, and they’re full of natural skin soothers like aloe vera, shea butter, cocoa butter and sweet almond oil, to name only a few. Honeycat products are ‘never tested on animals, especially sexy felines!’ They are available online and at various salons and shops in the USA and Canada – locations are on their website. They have some really cute gift sets which are perfect for your favorite cat lover!
