Today I went to an amazing charity event: Beauty for the Beasts, an event created by my girls, Stef and Tyne from We Heart This. The benefit was held at Cristophe Salon in Beverly Hills and all proceeds went to The Rescue Train, an organization that helps save animals from euthanasia and places them into loving homes.
Harlow
This adorable little girl, Harlow, (pictured above) was greeting guests at the salon. The maltese/cairn terrier cutie is currently available for adoption – click here to see her bio and other cats and dogs like her!
There were sweets galore, champagne, sample sales from some really cool indie shops, a raffle with over $3,000 in beauty products and some sweet goodie bags!
I got to meet the lovely Debbie of cruelty free nail polish brand, Sheswai Lacquer. She gave me the gorgeous new Sheswai colors to try out, so look for those swatches coming soon!
NCLA “As If”
Beauty services were discounted at Cristophe Salon, so I got my brows waxed and my nails done (with the new NCLA nail polish in “As If!”. I’ll have some more swatches of the Spring 2013 NCLA colors for you soon.
