Beauty Without Cruelty is one of the OGs (if not the first) in cruelty free cosmetics.
In 1963, Beauty Without Cruelty was founded in England by an animal welfare organization. Its goal was to manufacture and distribute natural, color cosmetics that were NOT tested on animals and did NOT contain any animal ingredients. Today, Beauty Without Cruelty has a full line of cruelty free, vegetarian makeup, skin, body, and hair care products made with natural ingredients and essential oils.
BWC has an impressive collection of highly pigmented lip colors in their Natural Infusion Lipstick line. I tried a cool pink called Tansy Tease. Being a cool tone, it really stands out against my warm, yellow undertones. Not an everyday color for me, but I was very impressed with the smooth formulation and color payoff. I’ll definitely be trying more from their color cosmetics line.
I also got a Beauty Without Cruelty nail polish from iHerb.com called Cassis – it’s way more of a cooler pink than what you see in the pic, but it actually goes with the Tansy Tease lipstick quite well! I’ll have pics and review of that for you soon.
Beauty Without Cruelty is Leaping Bunny approved!
