Burt’s Bees Skincare

Honey Bee

Burt’s Bees is known for their commitment to creating affordable, natural products for every day use. A long-time fan of their yummy lip balms, I was intrigued when I was offered products from their skincare line to try. Read on for the low-down on Burt’s Bees Day Cream, Night Cream and Anti-Blemish Moisturizer.

Burt’s Bees Natural Anti-Blemish Solutions Daily Moisturizing Lotion

I’m prone to breakouts whenever I’m stressed, so I find this solution is perfect for me. I use it every night before bed and first thing before applying make-up, and it’s very lightweight and fresh. The formula is designed to control oil, therefore reducing breakouts. The recyclable glass pump contains a non-greasy solution made with Lemongrass, Witch Hazel, Goldenseal and Hops to sooth irritation. It can be used on normal/combination skin, but it’s really ideal for oily and problem skin. The 100% natural ingredients stop acne in its tracks! Plus it’s non-comodegenic, so it won’t block pores, and like all Burt’s Bees products, is cruelty-free. In fact, this Anti-Blemish solution is dermatologically-tested and the first 100% natural product proven to reduce acne.

Burt’s Bees Radiance Day Creme

This solution is a little heavier to the touch as it’s a cream, not a lotion. This makes it great for nourishing dry skin, but works well on normal/combination skin too. It’s formulated with Royal Jelly, a rich jelly made of nectar, pollen, vitamins and bee hormones. These natural products work to enhance skin’s natural beauty by keeping it hydrated. Bee pollen extract helps skin retain its natural moisture, while wild cherry bark sooths it. Burdock and birch extracts help minimize the appearance of lines and wrinkles too, giving you an even, younger-looking complexion. Swipe this on in the morning after cleansing and before applying makeup to create an even base.

Burt’s Bees Radiance Night Creme

This is a really moisturizing cream, and I love using it particularly around my eyes at night. This too is formulated with Royal Jelly, and it also contains lots of other natural ingredients like flower extracts and minerals. Botanical oils and extracts work while you sleep to restore moisture to the skin. Lemon, rosemary and pine tree extracts penetrate deeply to give you a radiant complexion the next morning. It doesn’t have an overbearing scent, which is nice because you don’t feel like you’re wearing anything when you go to bed.

Enjoy these products and more in the Burt’s Bees skincare line from www.burtsbees.com.

Bee's are critical to sustaining life on this planet. It's good to know there are cosmetic companies out there that care about these things.
