My New Mattress and Bedroom Upgrades!
Recently, I decided it was time to get better beauty sleep. My fiance and I bought a new mattress from Sweet Dreamzzz in Studio City. Ours was about 8 years old, and in bad shape from too many moves (including one cross-country move where the movers thought it would be okay to let rain drip into the truck!). The owners at Sweet Dreamzzz are so nice, and so great at helping you find the perfect mattress. We opted for a Simmons BeautyRest low-VOC, vegan mattress (no wool), and we love it! We looked at several brands, and spent a lot of time pretending to sleep at the store before we picked out our favorite. They threw in a free mattress cover and pillow, and gave us a nice discount on the mattress.
More beauty sleep needs! In addition to my amazing Venta Airwasher, I was offered a chance to try Cariloha bamboo sheets and a bamboo duvet cover. All of these bedroom upgrades are really helping my allergies, my skin, and helping me to sleep better at night.
Benefits of Bamboo Bed Sheets
On average, humans spend one-third of their lives in bed, and the more comfortable they are, the better the quality of their sleep. Rough, scratchy sheets and other bedding items can prevent the deep, natural sleep that is most beneficial for physical and psychological well-being. Until recently, however, the average consumer had few choices when buying luxurious, soft bedding. Selections were priced beyond the average budget, wore out quickly or demonstrated both problems. Thanks to the line of bamboo bed sheets and duvet covers introduced by Cariloha, however, you can indulge in the silky smooth luxury seldom found outside of upscale hotels, resorts and cruise liners.
Bamboo fabric offers a number of benefits for bedding. These include:
• Bamboo bed sheets are softer than cotton
• Bamboo bedding is antibacterial, chemical-free and hypoallergenic
• Bamboo has outstanding wicking properties that help keep the sleeper cooler in summer and warmer in winter
• Bamboo sheets do not require the amount of special care that many other fabrics must have
• Bamboo bedding can last more than twice as long as luxury bedding made from other fabrics
• Bamboo is an environmentally friendly substance, having a short growth cycle, a wide range of acceptable growing conditions and an ability to regrow without replanting.
Cariloha has paid homage to the outstanding natural properties of bamboo by producing bedding that reflects the colors found in nature. Whether the décor calls for a soft blue that is reminiscent of a tropical lagoon or a pleasing brown that inspires a vision of a leisurely stroll on the beach, everyone is sure to find the right shade. Other colors include soft greens, lovely grays, gentle ivories and pristine white. Not all colors are available in all sizes or products; the widest selection is available in queen and king sizes although Cariloha also offers a limited selection in twin, full, California king and split king sizes. Fitted sheets are designed to fit mattresses up to 18 inches in depth. We went with the Blue Lagoon king size duvet cover and sheet sets.
Caring for Cariloha products is simple, but it is important to follow the laundering instructions carefully to avoid aging the products prematurely. Sort laundry by colors and machine-wash in cold water. Avoid harsh detergents and chemical boosters. Fabric softener should not be added to the wash although dyers sheets are acceptable. Line dry or tumble dry on low settings; remove the bedding promptly to avoid excessive wrinkling. The one negative with bamboo sheets is that they do get pretty wrinkled-looking. This works itself out after a few days on the bed. I know my bedroom is for me, and not for the public, so this doesn’t bother me.
Cariloha products are built to last, and the company stands behind their work. Purchasers typically have 90 days to return an item for a refund, but Cariloha offers a lifetime quality guarantee that allows buyers to return an item for exchange if it should fail after that time.
Cariloha bamboo sheets and duvet covers offer an excellent alternative for those who want to wrap themselves in luxurious softness. The quality of the products, reasonable prices and exceptional guarantee mean that it is impossible to go wrong with bamboo bedding from Cariloha. They also make men’s, women’s and baby clothing and gifts, and towels, bath mats and other home accessories. You can purchase online or in one of their 50+ stores in the Caribbean, Hawaii and across the US and 13 other countries.

In growing bamboo there is no need for any pesticides and harmful fertilizers, and this makes it even greener. Bamboo and other wood has a natural resistance to pest and fungi infestation and, although the fiber does not retain all of its original antibacterial properties, bamboo and wood beds are still a wonderful option for those with sensitive skin, back pain problem as these are hypoallergenic, antimicrobial and antibacterial. We can say these are organic as well as natural. Is there any better option than bedandwood ?

There is no much awareness about the use of bamboo sheets but with popular blogs like yours posting about it, it will help to create that required awareness among consumers.
