Best Cruelty Free Products at Ulta + a $100 Ulta Gift Card Giveaway!
Hi Bunnies! I did a poll recently and it seems that many of you love to shop at Ulta Beauty! I do too, and I know the large number of products can be overwhelming, so I put together a list of my must-have, all time favorite cruelty free beauty products that you can find at Ulta. And to make it even better, ShopStreet has sponsored this post so we can give a $100 gift card to one lucky My Beauty Bunny reader! Read to the end for entry details.
When I first visited an Ulta Beauty store many years ago, I thought I had died and gone to heaven! The stores are HUGE and you can find (almost) everything you need there – from drugstore to prestige, hair, nails, skincare and makeup. It’s hard to narrow down the best cruelty free products because there are so many, but here are my picks.
Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer – Oh Shape Tape – how I love thee! Shape Tape concealer is one of my favorites for hiding dark circles and acne spots. It has major coverage so a tiny bit goes a long way. It also comes in a million shades, so it’s not hard to find a color match. If you buy a color that is 1-3 shades darker than your skin, it can also be used to contour, although I must admit, I have never tried that. You won’t find this concealer at Sephora, so if you want to do an in-person color match (which I highly recommend), head to an Ulta store.
Beauty Blender – I have tried SO many brushes and knock-off sponges, but I always come back to the Beauty Blender. It blends makeup into your skin for an airbrushed, flawless-looking finish. You can blend foundation or any cream-based products (contour, blush, bronzer, etc.). I really have not found anything that comes close to this staple. Be sure to clean it regularly, especially if you’re acne-prone. And buy a new one every 3 months or so.
It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Powder Brush – It Cosmetics makes some of the best synthetic, cruelty free makeup brushes. They are packed with bristles that are soft, but not overly soft and floppy (which isn’t helpful for makeup application). I had been using the Heavenly Luxe Jumbo Powder Brush #3 for years. It gave me the perfect amount of powder, and it went on evenly and quickly. Now that I’m a little older, and my skin is extra dry from the weather and all of the acne medication I’ve been smothering it with, I’m realizing that I need LESS setting powder. I tried the Heavenly Luxe Wand Ball Powder Brush #8 and it turns out that this one works better for my current skin situation! They are both great – but pick based on the amount of powder coverage that you need.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Products – I try other products and there are some I really like and use often, but at the end of the day I always go back to the brand that started the brow craze – Anastasia Beverly Hills. I go back and forth between their Dipbrow Pomade (for a more glam look), Brow Powder Duo (for a well-defined look that can go lighter or darker depending on my look), and Brow Wiz (for a quicker, every-day look).
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant – This is one of my all-time favorite exfoliating cleansers. It’s gentle enough that I can use it every day, but it actually makes my pores feel cleaned out (unlike other “gentle” exfoliating cleansers out there). It’s oil-free, so it takes off all the makeup and gunk on my skin without leaving any residue. My skin feels clean and fresh after using it – never tight and dry OR oily.

That’s a great list of CF products from Ulta. I don’t go to the Ulta in WeHo nearly often enough, and it is so close to me!

I was excited when ULTA opened 5 minutes away from me. But the store is small so my excitement was short-lived. Fun giveaway!

Have used Ulta products that were given to me as a gift from a friend before, but have not ever been able to afford to buy from His on my own since I am on a fixed income. But I do love the products.
