Best. Facial. Ever. Celeb Beauty Secret!

in Faves, Men, Salons, Skin on 10/03/13

I recently had one of the best facials of my life! I was invited to try out Touch of Faith Aesthetics in Hollywood. First of all, you would NEVER know this spa even exists, because it is tucked away into a live/work space on Melrose and Highland. The gorgeous loft is decorated in a modern, urban style, while the treatment room is decked out like a cabana in the islands.

Upon my arrival, I filled out a skin questionnaire and was offered some delicious spa water. I went upstairs for my facial, and was greeted by Anna, one of Touch of Faith’s aestheticians. Anna is very skilled, and has trained with many major skincare companies. She uses the best of everything she’s learned to serve up an amazing facial. She did the usual steam cleansing, scrub, peel, mask and extractions. The extractions weren’t exactly painless, but she was VERY thorough. That’s what I want in a facial – CLEAN skin! After that, she performed aquasonic dermabrasion and used high frequency to kill bacteria, and finished up with Eminence and ISUN lotions and acne treatments.

I ended up buying the ISUN Clarifying Serum and Spot Treatment because I was impressed with the fact that they use extremely potent wild crafted, organic and natural ingredients. Anna told me that wild crafted herbs are more potent because they grow in areas that are not over-farmed. They also sell cruelty free mineral makeup cosmetics such as Jane Iredale, Youngblood and Mineralogie.

I got some inside gossip on the celebs that frequent the salon, including Drew Barrymore, Kristin Wiig, Natasha Legerro and others. The parking (always an issue in LA) is a little tough if you go later in the day – there are a few spots behind the building, or you can park on Highland before 3 pm or on Waring (side street) anytime. The prices are not cheap, but in my opinion, highly worth it. The customized facial starts at $150 and the aquasonic dermabrasion facial (that I had) starts at $250. A $50 consultation is also required for first time customers (redeemable toward services of $200 or more).

Touch of Faith also offers spray tanning and waxing services.

Touch of Faith Aesthetics is a transformative skincare oasis created by world renowned facialist, Faith Tatro. Located in Hollywood’s Media District, this private 2,200 square foot loft sets the stage for some of the most sought after facials in Los Angeles.

Thanks for letting know about Touch of Faith. I totally like this place. They provide excellent facial service. Every week once I visit that place and though sometime they are expensive for some of their excellent facial services.
