I recently got to try samples from cruelty free beauty brand, Le Beurre Shop. The products contain over 80% shea butter blended with an array of essential oils designed to balance and enhance the tone and texture of your skin.
Beurre Essentiel is a nutrient rich, luxurious face and body shea butter cream designed to moisturize, enrich, and revitalize your skin (beurre means “butter” in French). Infused with skin quenching oils and the natural healing elements of shea butter, jojoba oil, Vitamin E grapeseed oil and rice powder, Beurre Essentiel is perfect for dry or mature skin – or skin that BECOMES dry during certain times of the year (or during vacations to cold, dry climates).
The product is pretty thick, so you have to rub it in your hands before applying. It takes a while to absorb into your skin, so I like to use it at night. My boyfriend was complaining about rough patches on his hands the very day I got the Beurre samples in the mail. I gave it to him and he complained about it being “greasy” (guys have low tolerance for beauty treatments). BUT, the next day, his rough patches were almost gone and he specifically asked for more Beurre. Now he’s addicted.
I love this product for my hands, cuticles and feet and I’ve been using it several times a week. If you have rough patches or seasonal dry skin, definitely give Beurre a try!

This sounds like wonderful body butter. I didn’t know that Beurre was french for butter. That is really interesting. Really pleased that this product wasn’t too greasy, just soft and moisturizing.
This sounds amazing. I LOVE shea butter. I’ll sometimes make whipped shea body butter, I don’t mind how thick it is, it works SO well.
This sounds great. I am going to have try some for my husband. He has the roughest heels in the world. I too love shea butter, and the cruelty free aspect is just a wonderful bonus.
As we age, skin can require more help to achieve that young smooth feel again. Using products like shea butter is great at helping prevent and heal our skin.
