Want to look extra sparkly for the holidays? Here’s a quick recipe to make your own DIY body glitter. The recipe is from a book called Babushka’s Beauty Secrets – Old World Tips for a Glamorous New You by Raisa Ruder and Susan Campos. This book is full of fun DIY beauty recipes and tips. This would be a great holiday present – either the book itself or homemade beauty concoctions for your friends.
DIY Body Glitter
You need:
- 3 tablespoons aloe vera gel
- Very fine glitter (any color, but silver and gold would be nice)
- Lavender essential oil
Add a small amount of glitter at first – you can always add more. The essential oil is an optional, but nice touch. Store it in a glass container at room temperature.
