Question of the Week: If beauty products were like Thanksgiving dinner, what’s your gravy? (The product you use with/over EVERYTHING.)
My ride or die product is probably my Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage foundation. I am still looking into other foundations now that my acne guru, Emme Diane, has told me that it contains some pore-clogging ingredients. But the formula is amazing – great coverage, and a great shade range. So I’m afraid I won’t find anything as good! Until that day, l’m gonna keep using it in my shade – it used to be called “Light” but they changed things around, so now I used “Light Sand.”

I bought this foundation after trying many, many other foundations. I’m pale with yellow undertones and rosacea. Some foundations, therefore, make me look like my face is tan. Urban Decay foundations make my pores look so much worse than they look with no coverage at all. Smashbox foundations made my skin itch. This Tarte foundation looks good applied with a brush. I then use a beauty blender to gently dab and it then looks almost airbrushed. It doesn’t oxidize, it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin including the rosacea. I love it.

Thank you for the list! I am a big fan of Sephora products! I have to try this foundation since there is another opinion on how good it is. Thanks!

Same here Melissa! It’s the only formula I really love, and the shade match is the closest I’ve found. I also use a Beauty Blender – brushes seem to leave marks no matter what foundation I use them for (unless we’re talking about powder foundation).

Have you tried the Bare Minerals BarePRO liquid foundation? I tried a sample and loved it so I bought the full size during the VIB sale.
chiefbunny says
No! I want to try the new BareMinerals though! Did you use the app to pick your shade?
