Today Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) recognized the most innovative beauty products of the year at the 18th Annual CEW Beauty Insiders’ Choice Awards. The award-winning products spanned 29 categories including cosmetics, hair care, skin care, nails and more.
The CEW Beauty Awards is the only awards program where the winners are determined exclusively by beauty industry professionals. More than 4,600 CEW members, whose business it is to know beauty’s best, selected the winners. The CEW Beauty Awards signify the industry’s highest recognition for manufacturers and brands, and serve as a well-respected guide to the most innovative new products for consumers.
I like that CEW invited several bloggers to present during the event this year. Very cool. Here are the cruelty free beauty products that made the cut. I hope one day to see ONLY cruelty free products in every category!

I truly love that you do all of the research for us on cruely free brands. While I know of quite a few brands, I would have never guessed that a brand like Kate Somerville was cruelty free. I only say that because I’ve never heard her speak to that point when I’ve seen her selling her products. And because they are so potent, I don’t normally think of cruelty free and/or organic products as being so potent. I guess I’ve always thought that cruelty free and organic go hand in hand, but maybe not? Thank you for all of the information on your site!

Yes – a lot of brands that you wouldn’t consider “natural” or “indie” are cruelty free! 🙂
