Inspired by The Runaways hit song, Cherry Bomb, the gals behind Cherry Bomb Killer Perfume have two cruelty-free scents that are perfect for teens but also wearable by adults.
Truth or Dare: Vanilla, brown sugar, honeysuckle. Summer nights, fishnets, dragonflies. Shy smiles. Lollipops, corsages, red lips, pink sweaters. Love songs.
Rebel Angel: Vanilla créme puff, honey, magnolia. Ripped t-shirts, city lights, leopard prints, grafitti. Broken curfews, first dates, locked diaries. Old-school bakeries. Yellow taxis, neon smiles.
Obviously, these scents are marketed to teens and they are heavily based on sweet scents, which isn’t normally my thing, but I was pleasantly surprised. The Truth or Dare scent was nice, but a little too strong for my sensitive, canine-esque olfactory center (in other words, I can smell stuff real good-like). It’s definitely more of a bold, screw you mom and dad, I’m a rebel kind of scent. It kind of reminded me of grape scratch ‘n sniff stickers.
Rebel Angel is a lot more wearable in my opinion. Definitely more vanilla/honey-scented. Kind of like the vanilla scents you would get at Victoria’s Secret, but not as overpowering and obnoxious (I can’t buy that stuff – yuck). It has a slightly floral note too. I feel like this is the kind of scent you wear on a date – men do like food!
You can get these in a solid pot (pictured above) or in a heart bottle with a keychain that can be worn around your neck or on your belt loop or purse (okay, only if you’re 13, but then that’s the idea anyway).
