I love clean, fresh scents just as much as I like earthy, sexy scents. Lately, I’ve been finding some amazing clean scents to share with you. And trust me – I’m SUPER picky and I don’t like overwhelming, cheap-smelling stuff either. My nose is classy.
First – if you like grapefruit, you MUST try LATHER Pink Grapefruit & Ginger Illuminating Creme and the Pink Grapefruit & Ginger Sugar Scrub. I’ve always been a big LATHER fan, but these products are my favorites by far. I’m not really a huge fan of ginger, but the ginger works so well with the grapefruit, it just smells fresh and clean. Like a breath of fresh air when you get to relax at a spa after a long day (or okay – fine in your own bathtub). The scrub is not oily (very important for me) – I much prefer a body scrub that rinses clean. And, it’s got enough grit to really exfoliate. There are so many sissy scrubs out there. This is not one of them. And the body cream has a wonderful micro-glitter shimmer – just enough to give your skin a glow without looking like you’re going to a rave. I can’t say enough good things about these products – love, love, love, love!!!
Second – I’ve reviewed CLEAN perfumes before (by Dlish), but I’ve never tried the one called Sweet Layer. A local beauty store was having a discount sale so I picked some up. OMG – it smells like fresh laundry and pink lemonade! It’s a light, lovely, every-day scent. (Note: as I’m hunting for links, I’m seeing that they have deodorant! I’m so buying one as soon as I finish writing this!) I also tested the regular CLEAN perfume – it has a bit of a lemony note. I also loved that one. The only reason I didn’t buy both is because I have a similar one at home. And that brings me to number three…
Third – C.O. Bigelow Lemon Eau de Parfum – love this fresh, lemony scent! It reminds me of sugary lemon drop candies. Definitely one of my go-to fragrances.
