Is an ice cream sundae complete without the cherry on top? Is the birthday gift for your special friend complete without the bow on top? Although an ice cream sundae can be enjoyable without the cherry, and a present will be appreciated without being topped with an elaborate bow, these things make the item complete. The same goes for a great outfit. The perfect blouse, great fitting pants, and fancy shoes make a great look. But if you add the perfect piece of jewelry, the look becomes complete.

The perfect piece of jewelry can come from an expensive jewelry store. It can also come from a craft show, an online jewelry retailer, or any other place that sells jewelry that you find attractive. It doesn’t matter what piece of jewelry you choose to wear, but any piece that you think is pretty or interesting can be the perfect accent piece to your outfit. You aren’t required to spend a bundle to get a piece or two of jewelry that will provide the perfect accent to your outfit.

For instance, you may find a bracelet at a craft fair that contains beads in a shade of blue that you have always liked. Maybe you don’t have an outfit that has the shade of blue that exactly matches the blue in the beads. That doesn’t mean you have nothing to wear with the bracelet. Instead, you can pair it with white Capri pants, a white blouse and white sandals. That sounds like a rather boring outfit…until you add that pop of blue. That one piece of jewelry can take that boring summer outfit up a notch to make the outfit complete, and different from any other summer outfit anyone else is wearing.

And remember you don’t always need to depend on someone to sell jewelry to you to make your outfit complete. You can easily make your own earrings and a necklace to complete your outfit. Using basic supplies from a craft store, you can make earrings and a necklace that perfectly match, or perfectly accent your outfit.

You should also make a point of noticing what your friends are wearing, or what they say is their favorite outfit. You can use the same materials you used to make your own jewelry, using different colors, to make your friend a gift that will complete her favorite outfit. What a great gift!

So with the perfect piece of jewelry, you can make your outfit complete…like the sundae with the cherry on top. Yum.
