Conair You Wave Ultra Review

in Hair on 10/03/12

conair

I have wavy hair and I love it because most of the time I don’t really have to style it. But sometimes, I want a little more of a defined “beachy wave” so I’ll curl it. I recently tried the Infiniti by Conair You Wave Ultra styler. At first I was worried it would make my hair look crimped (those of your who grew up in the ’80s/’90s know what I’m talking about). It IS essentially a large crimping iron, but don’t worry – it creates loose waves. You won’t end up with this:

I used my Conair You Wave Ultra for a wedding recently (see the pic above), and I felt like it lasted all night. Just be careful – it can get really hot! If your hair is more fragile (like mine), use a lower setting. The higher setting is great for thicker hair.

Here are the deets:

Tourmaline Ceramic Technology

  • Prevents hot spots, reduces frizz and helps eliminate static

Unique 3-Barrel Ceramic Styler

  • Creates long-lasting, soft waves

Ultra-High Heat

  • 356°F

Additional Product Features

  • 30-second instant heat
  • LED indicator lights
  • Auto off
  • Limited five-year warranty

How to use:

  1. Starting at the scalp, close the styler over a section of hair
  2. Hold for 5-10 seconds, then move down the section of hair, starting next to the last wave
  3. Lightly separate hair with fingers for a loose, natural look

Happy waving!

I love the photo…of you! 🙂 I also have wavy hair, so I’ll have to check this out. Thank you for the review!
