Sara Happ x Sprinkles Red Velvet Lip Scrub Review
You guys! Cruelty free lip guru, Sara Happ, has a new Lip Scrub and it’s a collaboration. Nope – not with some YouTuber of the month – with one of the best cupcake companies out there – Sprinkles! If you live in Los Angeles, I know you’re familiar with Sprinkles – they make some of the best cupcakes around, and you can even visit the famous Cupcake ATM vending machine in Beverly Hills to get your Sprinkles fix after hours!
This new collaboration is a Red Velvet Lip Scrub that tastes EXACTLY like Sprinkles’ best-selling red velvet cupcake! Sara Happ and Candace Nelson (Sprinkles’ founder) worked together to create the perfect indulgent beauty treat.
If you’re like me and avoiding excess sugar in your diet, this is a good way to curb those cravings (just don’t eat the scrub)! I will say though – my diet went off the rails this weekend. Gregg and I took a trip to San Diego and I ATE WHATEVER I WANTED! Which you’re supposed to do for your birthday, right? Then the day after my trip when I was supposed to be back on my leaky gut diet, I got a PR package with this delicious lip scrub and FIVE Sprinkles cupcakes! I decided to extend the birthday celebration a teensy bit longer and I ate one. Sometimes you gotta TREAT YO’SELF! Then I gave the rest to my neighbor’s kids so I wouldn’t be tempted. It was a good day in the Beauty Bunny neighborhood.
The Sara Happ red velvet lip scrub is vegan and cruelty free. Use it to get rid of dry, flaky skin before putting on Lip Slip lip balm or your favorite bold lip color. And you can feel good about buying it – 10% of proceeds will go to Baby2Baby to help children in need.
Ingredients: Sucrose, Petrolatum, Flavor (Aroma), Simmondsia Chinensis (jojoba) Seed oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower Seed Extract), Tocopherol
You can pick one up for $22 at SaraHapp.com and at Sprinkles Bakeries! It will be at retailers nationwide on May 7th.
