Why did you become a cruelty free blogger?
I have children and dogs so I only purchase cruelty free products for my home. I started to blog because it was a way to chronicle the good products that I, and my family, find, and that I would recommend for people wishing to use only natural or organic beauty products.
What are some of your favorite cruelty free products?
100% Pure’s Body Washes and Argan Oil
Youngblood Cosmetics’ eyeshadows
Sircuit Skin’s X-Trap
It’s Joon’s Natural Beauty Body Washes
Georgie Beauty’s faux eyelashes
Bare Escentuals’ Volumizing Mascara/Blue Black color
Lush Cosmetics’ Demon in the Dark Soap
What is one beauty brand that you wish would go cruelty-free and/or vegan?
MAC (Editor’s note: MAC is cruelty free but not all products are vegan)
Do you have any pets? Names?
Two dogs: Tallulah Belle and Maisy
All time favorite cruelty free brand?
I can’t choose from the ones listed above. They’re all great!

Why did you become a cruelty free blogger?
I’ve always been a compassionate beauty junkie; it falls in line with my vegan lifestyle. I wanted to help spread the word that vegan & cruelty-free beauty doesn’t have to be all hippy-dippy, but rather fun and exciting!
What are some of your favorite cruelty free products?
I LOVE Crazy Rumors lips balms, Strawberry Hedgehog soaps and whipped body cremes, LUSH bath bombs, Urban Decay eyeshadows, Zoya nail polish, Earth Science moisturizers and cleansers, L’uvalla anti-aging skincare, all the affordable vegan beauty products at Trader Joe’s (there are so many!), and I LOVE making my own vegan beauty products at home from scratch.
What is one beauty brand that you wish would go cruelty-free and/or vegan?
I’d like any huge mainstream brand that makes a kazillion bajillion dollars every year to go vegan and cruelty-free. I wish Proctor & Gamble would stop animal testing–they make SO may products that it would seriously be a game changer.
Do you have any pets? Names?
Yep, 4 floofy stinkertons (of the feline nature): Towane, Spirulina, Kaduki & Conan =^..^=
All time favorite cruelty free brand?
Oo, that’s a toughie… I love way too many. Right now I’m currently obsessed with using jojoba oil from Trader Joe’s. I use it as a daily moisturizer and it’s perfect for making DIY body scrubs (just add some organic cane sugar and a few dops of your fave essential oil/s, and voila!). 🙂

Why did you become a cruelty free blogger?
I’ve always made an effort to buy cruelty free. Even as a kid, this was a huge part of my life and went into consideration with a lot of products I bought. When I made the change to a vegan lifestyle, all my beauty and household products were switched to vegan items. This means that not only were no animals tested on to make these items, but they also don’t contain any animal ingredients. Since everything from my makeup to my hair products, toothpaste, dish soap, and even my dish sponges and razor became 100% animal friendly, it was necessary to make the change with Logical Harmony too. Logical Harmony features cruelty free and vegan product reviews.
What are some of your favorite cruelty free products?
Some of my favorite vegan products are :
Earthly Body Dare to Bare Shave Cream & Miracle Oil – These two products are amazing! Having tried them, I don’t think I could ever live without them. It’s practically impossible to find a good vegan shaving cream. I love to use self tanner. Beautisol All Seasons Glow is one of my favorites. Not only is it great to use at home, but I especially love that I can go to Couture Glow in SF and get a totally animal friendly and vegan spray tan!
I honestly think that most vegan beauty companies make really great items. I think that they know they need to be able to stand out against other items on the market and the stigma that automatically comes with being labeled as vegan. I also really applaud companies who have chosen to do this simply because they show that animal testing and the use of animal ingredients isn’t necessary.
What is one beauty brand that you wish would go cruelty-free and/or vegan?
I can’t pick just one. I think that all brands should be free of animal testing and animal ingredients. There’s absolutely no reason for either one. Plus, even if you’re not vegan, once you learn about the animal products that are used to make a lot of cosmetic items you probably wouldn’t want to use the products anymore. Who wants fish scales on their nails, bug wings in their shadows and lipsticks, or hooves in their glosses and eye liners? Certainly not me, and my guess is that a lot of people aren’t too thrilled with it either.
Do you have any pets? Names?
I have one cat. Her name is Penny and she’s incredibly tiny and adorable.
All time favorite cruelty free brand?
I really love Kiss My Face. You can get moisturizer, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, and more and it’s all cruelty free and vegan.

Like you say Tashina, you don't need to be vegan to love this stuff.
I actually live in Brazil, and from what I can tell, companies here are a lot more genuine in their concern for both the environment and the welfare of animals.
Most of the regualr everyday beauty products I buy at regular stores are guaranteed curelty free. So there's hope.
By the way, whenever I'm back in the UK, I always stock up on 100 Pure goodies. Love it.

Exactly, Bella! 🙂 I feel like a lot of non-vegans want to make sure that they are buying ethical products. It's great!
