spa treatments

Getting a spa treatment is not only a relaxing process; it leaves you pampered for a long time after the treatment is over. There are many types of spa services you can go for depending on your desires. Here are some of them.

1. Massage

For a spa feeling that will relax and rejuvenate you, Swedish, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue and Thai massage options are available. Getting a message is a great option if you suffer from stress, aches, pains or poor blood circulation in the body.

The massage therapist uses a variety of techniques to apply pressure on certain parts of your body. Techniques include deep strokes, trigger point therapy etc. This helps in increasing your endorphin levels, flexibility and also improves the circulatory system.

2. Wax

If you’re planning to attend a special event, or going on a vacation, you would prefer to stay silky smooth for a greater time period than you can with a regular shave. For this, you can choose to get waxed.

Getting waxed properly is a great feeling, and will allow you to stay smooth for long. It’s also worth the temporary pain.

3. Facial treatment

Getting a facial treatment is a good option if you want your skin to look beautiful and have that natural glow. There are many types of facial treatments. Examples include balancing facials, anti-oxidant therapy, collagen and galvanic. You should go with the one that is suitable for your skin type. Usually, you’ll be advised on which treatment to go for at the spa center.

4. Reflexology

This treatment will focus upon working on the reflex points of your feet. This is going to rebalance the body’s systems or ailments. If there is any pain or discomfort in your feet, getting a reflexology treatment will ease the pain.

5. Body treatments

You also have the option to go for body treatments at the spa. The common body treatments include a body polish or a body scrub. This includes exfoliation, cleansing and moisturizing of the entire body. To clean and exfoliate the skin, aromatics and sea salt is applied. After this, you rinse off. After the scrub, you may decide to receive a body wrap or a body mask. Detoxifying treatment of mud or seaweed is included in the body mask. Hydrating treatments use creams and lotions.

6. Laser treatments

Spas also have the option of laser treatments. For tightening of saggy skin, spas offer laser skin tightening treatments such as Titan and Thermage. These treatments also increase the production of collagen. The results are seen within three to four weeks after the session, and the program can be complimented with a high quality anti-aging moisturizer. Laser treatments are also available for hair removal.

7. Eyelash or eyebrow tinting treatment

Females can opt for this treatment. This treatment is not only a great way for enhancing facial features, but it also saves your time. It saves a lot of time in your daily routine. Instead of using, removing and reapplying eyeliner, eyebrow and mascara every day as you already look made up with this treatment.

These are of the spa treatments you can go for. A number of spa centers have a range of treatments available, and you may be able to get a discount if you go for more than one treatment. Examples of spas offering a range of treatments include Bellezza Spa, Exhale Spa etc.
