Colorescience – Now this is pretty amazing! I incorporate my Colorscience Sunforgettable Brush on Sunscreen SPF 30/50 every day into my daily makeup routine. It’s a translucent powder brush that goes on sheer. I brush it on before my foundation and after my powder finish to ensure optimum sun protection! Unless I’m sitting by the pool or on the beach, I’m not a big fan of using normal face sunscreens because they are always so thick. Even drier face lotions leave my face a complete oil slick under my make up. This powder brush is a complete game changer! Apply and reapply as needed. Schmidt’s Deodorant – I’ve never found a natural deodorant that I’ve actually liked, until THIS! First of all, Schmidt’s isn’t sticky like so many other natural deodorants I’ve tried. Who wants their armpits to be sticky all day!? Schmidt’s has the consistency of a solid powder and when you apply it with your fingertips, less is more! The deodorants are sold in sustainable glass jars and, more importantly, kept me dry. I always have a fear that a natural deodorant won’t work and halfway through the work day, I’ll be offending everyone in my office. I’ve gotten over that fear with Schmidt’s. I tried the fragrance-free but next time I’m going to try one of their four natural scents!
Invisibobble – These things have changed my beauty world! I’ve gone from eyeing them curiously at my salon to full blown using them every single day. I love how they pull my hair back without crimping it. I like using these right after I blow dry my hair. They bring down the puffiness of my hair without flattening it to death. I also love using Invisibobbles at work. I can pull my hair back for an hour or two, but then take my hair out again without it becoming a crimped, flattened mess. If you think they might slip out of your hair, they won’t! I woke up with my Invisibobble still in my hair, which is often near impossible with a regular black hair rubber band.
