Argan oil is known for its magical health benefits and is also used in cosmetic products as it provides various benefits to hair and skin. It is obtained from the argan tree which is native to Morocco and hence is also called Moroccan oil. The various benefits that Argan oil provides are:

1.  Anti Aging

Argan oil is well known for its anti-aging properties. It contains organic compounds that prevent wrinkles and help to reduce the signs of aging. It contains a high concentration of vitamin E and antioxidants that are essential to slow down the effects of aging.

2.  Skin Care

It has amazing properties that can keep your skin flawless, softer and healthier. This is due to the presence of fatty acids, ferulic acid, saponins and polyphones that protects your skin from damage.

3.  Hair Care

Argan oil has rich moisture content and hence is used a hair care product. There are various argan oil hair products made from this oil as it can provide moisture to dry hair, cure damage such as split ends, and treat thin hair. Apart from this, it can also treat and prevent hair loss. Argan oil is also used to treat dandruff.

4.  Nail Care

Argan oil is also used as a nail care product and when applied on cracks and unhealthy nails, it can prevent dryness and keep the nails stronger.

5.  Healing Property

Argan oil is used to treat various skin problems as it contains triterpenoids that contain high healing power. It can cure scars when used regularly.

6.  Aphrodisiac Property

7.  Increases Moisture Retention

Argan oil has rich moisture retention capacity and can be applied on skin before going to bed as an alternative to moisturizer. It can give you a supple, soft and glowing skin.

8.  Reduces Inflammation

Argan oil has anti-inflammatory properties and when applied on sun burns or other inflamed areas, can quickly reduce the inflammation. Using argan oil after shaving can reduce the burning sensation.

9.  Can Prevent Stretch Marks

Moroccan women make use of argan oil during pregnancy to avoid stretch marks as it prevents the stretch marks caused due to pregnancy. This is the best method to prevent stretch marks.

10.  Can Reduce Acne Marks

Argan oil is used to reduce the marks caused by acne and chicken pox due to the heavy vitamin E content. For best results it must be used as a part of daily skin care routine.

Argan Oil is a great natural moisturizer but if you’re trying it for the first time – use sparingly and at night.

It also works great for chapped lips and it’s not made with petroleum products, as are many lip balms out there.

Thanks for sharing a good knowledge about organ oil, I would know the most benefits of organ oil but now i got a deep idea about organ oil. Organ oil is most useful for nail care it was not known to me. May be it will help who want to come back to their natural nails from acrylic nails.
    Thank a lot.
