Delicious and LaLicious!

in Body, Dry Skin on 02/14/11

LaLicious Sugar Kiss Souffle Body ScrubNew find! One of the cruelty-free products in the iFabbo LA event goodie bags was a sample of LaLicious Sugar Kiss Moisturizing Body Scrub. Now, you know how I love me some scrubs! So, here’s what I liked about this scrub:

  • Super scrub action from sugar cane – this is no wimpy scrub! I can’t stand scrubs that have a few particles floating around in what is basically a body wash. This is not like that. Tons of sugar particles scrub away all that dead skin.
  • Smells great! Definitely a sweet scent, but the vanilla is mixed with citrus and rose, so it’s a more interesting combination. It also comes in: Peppermint, Coconut Cream, Coffee Bean, Brown Sugar & Vanilla, Lily Mango, Passionfruit Lime, Tahitian Flower and Island Guava.
  • Moisturizes like crazy. You don’t need any lotion after using bathing! That being said, it’s best to skip this for areas that might breakout (if you have oily skin) and definitely don’t use it on your face. It’s perfect for legs, feet, arms, elbows, etc. Just be careful, because like all scrubs with natural oils (coconut, sweet almond and essential oils), it does leave a slippery residue in the tub.
  • It’s whipped, so it’s fun to use and not watery or oily!

Good stuff – I recommend it!

Hi Monica – it was cruelty free when this post was written back in 2011. I haven’t checked up on the brand since then, so you may want to reach out to them to make sure they haven’t changed their distribution or ingredient suppliers.
