While honeymooning in Hawaii last year I was treated to a couple of spa days at our hotel and got acquainted with the brand, Eminence Organics. A sophisticated, cruelty free brand that hand makes their products using fresh all natural ingredients and skips over parabens, sulfates, colorants or synthetic fragrances. I totally fell in love and purchased a small travel sized set of the products used on me and have coveted the brand ever since. So when I was invited to sample Eminence Coconut Sugar Scrub I jumped at the opportunity to give myself that spa like experience again.
I love using body scrubs on the regular. They keep my skin soft, prep my legs for shaving, and give you those extra few minutes in the shower that we all want anyways! Eminence Coconut Sugar Scrub has all the qualities I look for in a good body scrub. First, it smells like coconut. I am totally obsessed with anything coconut from food to fragrances. It has pure virgin coconut oil and coconut shreds that hydrate the skin while providing a high level of antioxidants that our skin loves. Sugar granules work as a natural alpha hydroxy acid and gently buff the skin to soften all over. And to add some extra finesse to the scrub, Eminence includes their BioComplex blend of Vitamins A,C and E, CoEnzyme Q10 and Evening Primrose oil to keep the skin looking young and beautiful.
Because this isn’t an overly rough scrub, I am able to use it everywhere from the neck down without having to worry about irritating my skin. I generally like a good, tough scrub but this one did the trick without being too strong. And because it’s so moisturizing, I could step out of my shower and (unintentionally) skip lotion when I forgot to leave some out to use.
I’m telling you guys, this stuff smells delicious. Good enough to eat– but don’t! Save this spa quality scrub for scrubbing down and treating yourself to those extra few minutes in the shower that you deserve!
