Superfruit Infused Eppa Sangria!

in Fashion, Misc, Vegan on 11/26/14

I was recently introduced to a new kind of “adult beverage.” This one is called eppa sangria, and it has TWICE the antioxidants of regular wine! It’s made with organic grape and organic superfruits like acai, blood orange, blueberry, pomegranate and lime. The sangria comes in red and white varieties. You can find it at Whole Foods and other locations. You could easily pour these in a beautiful punch bowl or pitcher, add some organic fruit, and you have the perfect treat for holiday parties.

Described as “light bodied and refreshing, Eppa introduces itself with crisp citrus notes that meld into pomegranate and berry overtones. Its natural, subtle sweetness is a result of its blend of real fruit juices, which bring a brightness of flavor.”

Romy of Romy Raves invited myself and my fellow bloggers to an event to try this delicious sangria at Petit Ermitage (a gorgeous hotel in West Hollywood). She really outdid herself – offering massages from Manly Hands, a DIY facial bar by Stacy Cox Beauty, Blood Orange eppa rimming sugar (for the extra fancy touch), an eppa sangria inspired body butter made especially for the event b KleanSpa, our very own engraved wine glasses (I had mine engraved with “Jen and Gregg” – awwww!) and goodie bags that included a makeover/photoshoot gift from Lori at The Purple Tree and a Big Buddha vegan bag! It’s the gorgeous Big Buddha Parson bag that I received. 🙂
