Feb Faves Video: DermOrganic, NCLA and Too Faced

in Faves, Hair, Makeup, Nails, Vegan on 02/17/14

Here are some of my latest cruelty free favorites and a very rare video review! Woot!

teddy bear retractable kabuki brush

The Too Faced Pro Essential Teddy Bear Hair Brush Set is ADORABLE and cruelty free (all synthetic). The brushes are super soft. The cute, all-in-one, portable set includes all the makeup brushes you need including: Powder Brush, Blending Fluff Brush, Angled Eye Shadow Brush, Small Crease Brush and Angled Liner/Brow Brush. The cutely named “Teddy Bear Hair” feels identical to the soft and silky smooth hair of real animals without the cruelty involved in making traditional “animal hair” brushes. The Retractable Teddy Bear Hair Kabuki Brush is also the perfect travel partner.

My obsession. The product I can’t leave home without (literally) – DermOrganic Leave-In Treatment is made with certified argan oil of Morocco to repair, protect and improve hair shine. Restores optimal moisture balance, smoothes and softens, speeds drying time, and protects hair from thermal styling. It’s vegan and cruelty free.

ncla candy coat review

And my favorite Los Angeles nail polish brand, NCLA, has come out with a textured glitter collection called Candy Coat. Similar to Zoya’s Pixi Dust, it has a matte finish. It comes in Butter Me Up (a light, buttery gold), Cinnamon Girl (a bright orange), Don’t Sugar Coat It (a true blue) and Mint Condition (a bright chartreuse yellow green). All NCLA polishes are free of DBP, toulene, formaldehyde, camphor and animal testing.
