Zoya Island Fun and Paradise Sun Summer 2015 Collections
Summer is finally here (at least in Los Angeles it is!) and cruelty free nail polish brand, Zoya, has two new bright, tropical-inspired collections. Shown above is “Nana” from the Island Fun collection.
First, let me show you the matte, cream Island Fun collection. I personally prefer mattes, so I’m loving these bright, summery colors! They are full coverage and very opaque. Imagine them on your fingers and toes – on the beach – with a tropical drink in hand!
The Island Fun collection includes:
- Jace – a modern, tropical green
- Cecilia – a classic, bright teal
- Talia – a true turquoise (I think of it as swimming pool blue!)
- Serenity – a cool-toned, but light, summer purple
- Nana – a cool-toned fuchsia pink
- Demetria – one of my faves – a vibrant, poppy, orangey-red
The second is the metallic Paradise Sun collection. These are the shimmery ones. I think these colors would look great with a tan (real or faux!). They are meant to invoke a tropical paradise, sitting by the sea and enjoying exotic flowers. My favorite is the bright orangey-red, “Aphrodite”.
The Paradise Sun collection includes:
- Genesis – a crystalline white
- Selene – a metallic, deep sea teal
- Oceane – an ocean-blue – metallic turquoise
- Isa – a shimmery deep blue-purple
- Mae – a metallic, warm magenta pink
- Aphrodite – a shimmery summer red
I’ll have more of the new Zoya Summer 2015 nail swatches to come, so you can see the colors better. But, what do you think so far? Would you buy them?
