Have you been wishing for an all natural cruelty free deodorant? I have been for a while. I kept meaning to search for a good deodorant that would be free of aluminum and so many of those other nasty ingredients that are in most big name drugstore brands. Enter the opportunity to test G.B. Proudfoot’s Natural Baking Soda Deodorants!. As I read about them I was intrigued by the promise of natural ingredients providing a strong deodorant to keep me fresh and dry all day.
I tried two scents. First I tried the Lavender and then I tried the Lime and Clove. Lavender is one of my favorite scents so I jumped at the opportunity to try this one first. The scent is mild and pleasing but not overly strong. I thought Lime and Clove would be a questionable combination but this turned out to be my favorite! I really love the scent because, in way, it sort of reminds me of spearmint gum. It’s refreshing and pleasing!
Both deodorants are a very light yellow in color, being made of beeswax and other natural ingredients such as coconut oil and shea butter. There is no artificial coloring added, thank goodness!
Do you see the very light sheen on my skin? This deodorant doesn’t transfer any nasty or chalkiness to my clothes whatsoever.
True to the company’s claims (and without all those questionable chemicals we’ve all read about) I stayed dry with this deodorant. I’ve tried a couple of other natural deodorants and found them leaving me feeling damp even though I am not a heavy sweater. I have also never tried anything with such delightful scents. I even put these deodorants through some SERIOUS testing and I’m able to tell you that they really work. They are now my deodorant of choice. These deodorants are products I can feel good about putting on my body. They are cruelty free and they smell nice which is important to me since I can’t wear perfumes.
G.B. Proudfoot’s is sold mainly through their website as well as a few locations in Arizona and Arkansas. I would urge you to browse their website for more natural and cruelty free items in order to meet your needs. The deodorants retail for $7.99 for a 2.65 oz. stick and are housed in standard deodorant packaging.
G.B. Proudfoot’s has graciously supplied the deodorants for product testing to the author.

I have been looking for an all natural deodorant for ages and this one may be it. I’m also not a heavy sweater my self, but most natural deodorants make me feel icky after a few hours. Which scent did you like best? Lavender or Lime and Clove?
