I have the luxury of rocking either straight or wavy hair, depending on how I blow dry and style it. I recently received the Infiniti Pro 3Q Brushless Motor dryer by Conair, and I’m loving that I can get a professional quality blowdryer at a reasonable price. I have actually been using Conair dryers for a long time now. I’m not kidding when I say they have been better than some REALLY expensive blowdryers (3 times the price of this one) that I have received to review. The new 3Q is a winner in my book.
You want your blow out to be fast (unless you just love blowdrying your hair…), and you want it to be as silent as possible (especially if you’re trying not to wake up your significant other), and of course – you want professional quality – for the blowdryer to last as long as possible, and to give you smooth and soft, shiny hair. I think Conair nailed it.
Blowdrying with Conair CurlersThe Infiniti Pro 3Q is lightweight (no tired arms) and uses a brushless motor, which gives it mega lasting power (no brushes to die on you). I love that it comes with a concentrator attachment (for straight, smooth hair) and a diffuser attachment (for wavy or curly hair). It has 3 heat and 2 speed settings, and it’s a little thing – but I love that you can switch on the cool blast (to banish frizz or cool off curlers) without having to hold it down. So weird, but most blowdryers make you hold your finger on the cooling button, which just annoys me.
It’s super easy to use (watch the video here). If you’re going for smooth, shiny, straight hair, you’ll want to use a downward motion from the crown of your hair – down to the ends. The concentrator attachment helps to avoid frizz. For curls or waves, use the diffuser attachment, and dry from the bottom up (I flip my hair over). Think of it as scrunching your curls with your hands, except doing it with a blowdryer.
Overall, this is a great tool for everyday use, and I think once you try it, you’ll be a fan!
Infiniti Pro by Conair 3Q is the world’s first hair dryer featuring a brushless motor available at mass retail. The dryer’s name is derived from three of its key benefits, all of which begin with the letter “Q:” quick, quiet, quality.
