Michael Todd Citrus Spray Hydrating Mist Review
I never thought facial misters were a necessity in life until the past two years. I figured my moisturizer did the job well enough on it’s own so why bother adding another step? But as I began to experiment with misters I found them to be beneficial in a few different ways, and was glad that Michael Todd Citrus Spray Hydrating Mist was given to me to try.
Great for all skin types, Michael Todd Citrus Spray Hydrating Mist is 70% organic and is formulated without harsh alcohols, parabens, sulfates or even water which dilutes products to varying extent. Instead of having a water base like most misters, this citrus spray uses aloe vera to hydrate the skin, while witch hazel tones. The mist also includes willow bark which has astringent properties to it to further help in toning the skin.
I like to use my mister in three different ways. One, right after I use my cleanser and before I put on any serums or moisturizer. It feels good and gives my skin that little added dose of moisture while toning. Second, as a makeup refresher. You know those days when you really need your makeup to be on point all day long? But there is no way you’re going to bother to re-apply anything? This my friend, is your secret little helper to making makeup look fresh all day. Just spritz over a full face of makeup and voila. It really does help. And lastly, just a mid-day skin refresher –even on no-makeup days. It just feels nice to get a gentle, cooling mist that you know your skin deserves. Especially after a hard workout and my skin needs a little cool down. I love using this in my car after I get out of the gym before I get home. Even when I’m sitting at my computer typing away.
If you haven’t tried misting yet, I suggest you give it a chance. It’s good for your skin and feels like a treat you can give yourself anytime of the day! To find out more about the Michael Todd line, you can visit their website, Facebook, or Instagram for updates and more info!
