All Natural Body Cream
Being a big animal lover, and having a daughter with sensitive skin issues, Karen, the founder of Good Earth Beauty set out to create to place where you could find quality, cruelty free personal care products that were healthy for hair and skin. In addition to creating a natural beauty-based store, a line of good-for-you products were created without chemicals or questionable synthetic ingredients you’d have to google before using.
After looking at their main line, I can already tell I’ll need to come back for more, but for now I get to tell you all about the two whipped body creams I was sent to try. Seeing is that I am entering my second trimester, I feel like along with maternity pants a good body cream is an absolute must. My skin will be stretching over the next 6 months and it can use all the help it can in preventing stretch marks. While stretch marks are mostly genetic, I still feel it’s worth my while to slather myself head to toe with a rich moisturizing cream to prevent itchiness and (crossing fingers) stretch marks. I was really excited about receiving the handmade whipped body creams because the scents remind me of fall and I knew without a doubt I would be smelling good. So if you are a fan of cranberry fig or pumpkin brulee, get ready to hit up their store to try it for yourself.
The whipped body creams arrive in 4.5 oz tub and are thick enough to be turned upside down without the lids on and not spill. I wouldn’t say they are as thick as a body butter, they have a “wetter” feel to them and absorb rather quickly into the skin. I love that their formula is free of parabens, phthalates, petrolatum, artificial colors, and sulfates since this would be going right on my tummy next to my little jelly bean. I also appreciate that it doesn’t leave behind a greasy after-feel which can leave marks on my couch if I sit down too soon afterwards. Both of these body creams are also vegan.
Cranberry fig is blended with blood orange and pink grapefruit and while I can’t quite detect one particular note in this fragrance, I absolutely love it. I’m a huge fan of anything fig so I was sold at first sniff. I find this scent to be the lighter of the two and not as lingering, but still great.
Pumpkin Brulee is AH-MAZ-ING!!!! There honestly is no better way to describe this warm, fall associated scent. I want to eat a slice of pie and drink a latte after I use this one. The scent is described as pumpkin cake batter mixed with rich vanilla caramel. Is your mouth watering like mine? Maybe it’s the pregnancy hormones, but I think anyone who smells this is going to love it.
Good Earth Beauty Whipped body Cream also comes in a few other scents like chocolate amour, chocolate strawberries, and warm vanilla candy which sounds yummy. Their coconut body scrub and Honey Almond Buttercream Body wash also sound like things I want to try!
