I was intrigued to try a nail polish that you could remove without having to use a harsh nail polish remover. I used the Berry shade of Sula’s Paint and Peel polish on naked nails per the instructions and the formula dries really fast. By the time I had finished the second coat on the right hand (I painted the left hand first) the polish on the left hand was completely dry.
When I was painting my nails I messed up my right index finger but quickly found out that it wasn’t a big deal. I didn’t have to worry about getting the nail polish remover out and messing up my entire manicure by getting cotton everywhere. I just peeled off the polish and repainted that one nail and it dried in about 2 minutes although they recommend that you wait 30 minutes for the polish to set.
This formula is not long lasting; however, they recommend that the polish be used with their water-based top and base coats which make the polish last longer. The color of the polish on the nails is gorgeous but looks different than the bottle as it shows up more like a dark red or cranberry shade as the pictures show. The Sula website warns that peeling can be addictive and it is!
This water-based formula doesn’t contain Formaldehyde or Toluene and is a great polish for an event in which you want a fabulous shade on your nails to complete your outfit but don’t have time to wait for your nails to dry like the traditional nail polish formulas. Or if you are like me and get bored quickly with nail polish colors and like to change it as often as your makeup this is a the perfect polish for you!
Happy Painting and Peeling!

Thanks for this post. I'm always on the look out for non-toxic (or a better nail polish) and haven't had quite a success, especially in a typical beauty store. I will definitely check out Sula, as I love the idea of a quick color change.
