Much emphasis is placed on gifts that men should buy for women to keep her feeling loved and cherished, but gift giving should go both ways. Men want to be acknowledged, too, and a fashionable gift is one great way to do it. The occasion does not have to be a special day, such as a birthday, anniversary. In fact, giving your man a gift at other times may feel even more special, because it is a pleasant surprise and will not seem obligatory. Here are some ideas for fashionable gifts for men.
Stylish Shirts
For dining at a 5-star restaurant or going out for a VIP night on the town, every man should own stylish shirts. A more casual look may be fine for daytime outings, but well-tailored shirts, such as Brooks Brothers dress shirts for men, are more appropriate for special places and occasions. This kind of gift has an added benefit for you –others may envy you for being accompanied by such a well-dressed, handsome man.
Know his shirt size before ordering so you will be certain it will fit. For an extra special touch, have the shirt monogrammed.
Cuff Links
If your man owns dress shirts with French cuffs, then cuff links make a thoughtful, attractive fashion gift. Start with low profile, gold or silver cuff links in simple designs unless you are certain he would like something bolder. Novelty cuff links, such as sports-themed cuff links, can be fun, but for formal dress shirts for formal occasions, stick with classic designs. Cuff links with a flat metal piece can be monogrammed, to make the gift more personal.
Neck Ties
No formal menswear look is complete without a tie. Ties in solid colors or distinguished patterns help pull a fine, distinguished look together and transitions easily from the office to a formal dinner. Add extra charm to this gift by also giving him a tie clip.
Scarves
Nice scarves in solid colors or classic tartan make wonderful cool-weather gifts for any man in your life. Choose colors and style you are sure match his tastes and his outerwear.
Watches
Men typically wear fewer jewelry items than women. Giving a man an attractive watch is often safer than giving him a bracelet or necklace, unless you know him well and know he would appreciate those. Watches offer the dual function of practicality and aesthetic appeal. This is a gift that he will wear often and it can serve as a caring reminder of you. Good quality watches will last for many years and retain their attractiveness.
Monogrammed Handkerchiefs or Pocket Squares
A distinguished gentleman still owns handkerchiefs, although nowadays they are used as an accessory, tucked into the breast of a suit jacket. The pocket square, a smaller version of the old-fashioned handkerchief, is more common to see now. Giving your man a monogrammed set of silk handkerchiefs or pocket squares is a nice, casual way of showing that you are thinking of him.

Nice list. Agrees with all except for scarves. I don’t think my man will be happy if I give him a scarf.
