This winter saw some of the harshest snowstorms and lowest temperatures in history. However, even if it at one time seemed impossible, the snow is starting to melt and the sunshine is slowly peeking through the clouds. Warmer weather means that it’s time to start thinking about fashion trends for spring. But since no outfit is complete without the right jewelry, let’s take a closer look at the hottest jewelry trends for spring 2015.
Seventies Boho Chic – The spring runways saw a surprising trend of seventies bohemian style. When it came to jewelry, silver and turquoise pieces that would have until only recently been considered passe were back in a big way. A pair of dangling silver and turquoise earrings can help to relax a formal ensemble and give some chic edge to a little black dress. Pictured above: Rebecca Minkoff turquoise necklace
Eye-Catching Statement Earrings – When it comes to earrings, forget about minimalism in spring of 2015. The current look is big, eye-catching statement pieces. Whether you’re going with oversize hoops or shoulder-length dangling chandelier earrings, don’t be afraid to be bold and make a big statement. Pictured above: Alexis Bittar Drop Earrings in Taupe
Midi Rings – Midi rings are one trend that is carrying over beautifully from the fall and winter months. These delicate rings sit above the knuckle, rather than below at the base of the finger. They make a delicate yet beautiful finishing touch to absolutely any look.
Oversized Necklaces – This is perhaps the most kooky trend on the list, but it was all over the spring runways. This spring, don’t be afraid to make a bold statement with a larger-than-life necklace. The runways featured all sorts of oversize necklaces, from breastplates to large natural stone pendants. When wearing this look, be sure it pair your necklace with a simple ensemble. These large necklaces do not need to compete with any busy patterns or accessories. Pictured: Natalie B The Lady Lazuli Necklace in Silver
Collar Necklaces / Chokers – A ’90s throwback comes back in a modern way! These run the gamut from cheap (are you old enough to remember those plastic braided chokers? Well they’re back!) or classy like the House of Harlow collar necklace (top of page) or this Alexis Bittar Moonlight Cascading Collar Necklace (above)! Definitely something I’d wear to a black tie event with a gorgeous dress.
With spring here, it’s time to shed our heavy winter clothing and have some fun. Jewelry fanatics have plenty of reasons to rejoice; after years of minimal jewelry styles being in vogue, big statement pieces are finally making a comeback. This is the season to let loose and have some fun!

I’m going to have to show this article to my wife, she’s always looking for the latest trends. Especially, in jewelry, she loves it. I think that my favorite trend is the statement earring. I like that women are beginning to wear earrings that stand out.

I LOVE the Seventies Boho Chic! My wedding ring is from the seventies, so I have a slight bias towards jewelry from that era. This is a great round up… thank you!
