John Frieda® Precision Foam Colour Salon Blends

in Hair on 03/26/12

Written by: Abi Mogge, Staff Writer

Looking for hair color that is convenient, inexpensive and salon-quality? The John Frieda Precision Foam Colour Salon Blends offer an easy to use, permanent home hair color with vibrant results. John Frieda Creative Colour Director Nicola Clarke says, “The shades I create are hugely popular because you typically can’t get them in home hair color — it takes a professional to blend the basic tones expertly. I worked with John Frieda Hair Care to share some of the most popular, flattering blends I create at the salon, transforming them into shades of Precision Foam Colour.” The no-drip foam formula gives precise coverage and is easy to use, especially for a hair color novice like myself. I tried the shade “Lightest Cool Almond Brown”, which is not a great departure from my natural color, just a bit lighter. The color is rich and beautiful, with subtle golden undertones.

I was nervous about trying a color with the word “cool” in it – I’ve always thought I needed warm tones near my pale skin. But this shade is so flattering and I honestly can’t wait to try some of the other ones! The product itself is easy to use; the foaming action makes it a cinch to get complete coverage. I highly recommend these new shades from cruelty-free favorite, John Frieda.

I love this stuff! Best at home color I've used and it's super easy to do yourself!

I've used the John Freida foam stuff for about 6 months – and my hair looks terrific, equal to the salon. Yeah, that sounds hokey, but it's how I feel! I've never had any luck with off-the-shelf color: my hair always came out fried. Glad I got up the courage to try this – and at $13 a month, tops, compared to $150 for the foils I used to get – my husband is very, very happy!

I know, I tried the JF brand of foam color a few months ago, and it really worked nicely. The color came out even and it was very easy to use. It's so nice ot know that there are still some animal-friendly brands out on the market like this! Love this post!

Why does John Frieda not show up on the leapingbunny.org site’s list of cruelty-free hair products? Thanks, Lora
