There’s nothing more an exciting than the first hint of warm weather and you can finally put away those over-worn furry boots and bring out the sexy sandals (or better yet, treat yourself to a brand new pair!) I’m not sure if I’m the majority, but if you live in a seasonally rotating climate, (like I do in Chicago) you may not exactly keep up with your pedicures during the winter. With the weather finally starting to get warm, it’s time to exfoliate those heels, file those toenails and paint those toes a pretty shade of Spring!
Duri Cosmetics has a brand new Spring 2012 Collection featuring cruelty free, playful takes on classic shades. All Duri Cosmetics nail products are completely safe, environmentally friendly and free from DBP, Toluene and Formaldehyde. This season’s Spring colors are vibrant and versatile and I love that they can fit different looks. These colors quietly suggest the brighter colors of summer but are soft and wearable for Spring.
Set the Mood – A neutral, sheer blush. This color is great to use as an “everyday” natural color during the warm months. It’s also very professional and looks clean and feminine.
Trust Your Instincts – A cool hint of lavender. I love this color because when you first apply it, it appears almost white but then settles into a light lilac. This color instantly made my feet look tan!
Off the Beaten Path – A distinct ornamental purple. This color is a couple of shades darker than Trust Your Insticts and is a lighter, Spring appropriate take on the deep plum and purple nail colors that have been lingering around winter.
Far and Away Adventure – A neon fuchsia. This bright, fun pink is an essential in any personal nail polish collection. It’s eye-catching, girly and screams late nights on an outdoor patio.
Stay in Splendor – A soft tangerine. This bright melon color is a subtle, softer take on a summer orange polish.
Necessary Luxary – Steely mauve. This is another color that is neutral enough to be worn in a professional environment but still adds a hint of color and is definately not boring!
The only thing that I would change about these great nail polishes is the size of the brush. I wish the brushes were just a tiny bit bigger, but even that isn’t going to deter me from using these polishes! I love the ingenuity of the colors and the price is affordable enough ($5 each!) to start your own mini nail salon at home.
