As a beauty editor, I get pitches for hair products every day. I get sick of seeing the same stuff repackaged and marketed to the same audience. Boring. Done.
But, then I heard about LAID BRAND. Hair products that are cruelty free and actually bring something NEW to the table? Yes please! LAID BRAND hair products are infused with synthetic pheromones to give you that extra sex appeal! I love the concept and I think this brand will go far. Even if the products don’t end up attracting hotties by the boatloads, they are professional-quality, sulfate-free, paraben-free, cruelty free, and they make your hair look and feel great.
There are products for men and women with different pheromones, so I obviously tried the women’s products. All products have edgy, sexy names, like No More Headaches Working Hairspray, Mo’ Rockin Oil, Fill Me Up Texture Spray and Straight Kinky Multi-Purpose Spray. I have been using all of these products for months now, and I love all of them.
The No More Headaches Working Hairspray contains pro-vitamin b5 for shine and conditioning and a UV absorber to help prevent fading of color. No More Headaches is paraben and sulfate free. It has a unique 3-way dial to let you control how much spray you’re getting.
The Mo’ Rockin’ Oil is very lightweight and gives shine and bounce to towel dried or dry hair. Mo Rockin’ Oil conditions, controls frizz, and creates immediate shine while repairing damaged hair. In addition, its dreamy fragrance works with PHEROTTRACTION™ to soothe and lift your spirit. I love this hair oil!
Fill Me Up Texture Spray is a multi-dimensional wax based texturizer that works well with all hair types; whether fine or thick, straight or curly, Fill Me Up Texture Spray will give you increased volume, separation, and hold. It’s not super extreme, so don’t let the word “wax” freak you out. This isn’t a pomade – it’s a fine spray that you can use to add some “oomph” to your hair.
Straight Kinky Spray is a leave-in conditioner that detangles, adds shine, smoothes, seals and protects hair color (important to protect that investment!), controls frizz, and protects against flat iron breakage. I use this almost every day on towel-dried hair – after washing/conditioning.

I’ve tried the Luscious Locks product line. It is a very heavy line so my absolute favorite time to use it is when I’m going out and I’m going to do some serious styling. The conditioner has an intense tingle. It’s so FUN!
I need to get my hands on the Fill Me Up Texture Spray! Sounds like it would be perfect on my fine hair.
I have been using LAID products for a while now! I am obsessed with the hairspray! It comes with 3 settings for a light hold to a strong hold. The best hairspray I have ever had. I also use the shady girl shampoo and conditioner, it does wonders! The straight kinky spray is perfect to detangle my curly hair and add shine!! I have had “pheromoments”!! Haha it boost your confidence like you would not believe!! I can tell a difference if I am not using it! It is a must try!!
