In case some of you didn’t notice, we didn’t do a review of the February 2016 box from the cruelty free, vegan beauty box from Laritzy because I was busy having a baby! There were some great products in there like the Love Fresh Moroccan Rose Deodorant and the cucumber milk facial cleanser from LATHER that served me well while tending to my new little one. During my entire pregnancy I was extra cautious about what I put in/on my body and I still am since I breastfeed and it can affect her also. Healthy, good for you, bath and beauty products have become a very important part of my life and Laritzy makes it SO easy to find those “good-for-you” brands that we all need to know about! So let’s take a look at what the March box introduces us to and find out which are my favorites.

Modern Minerals Infused Eye Shadow Sphere in Autumn

I’ve never heard of Modern Minerals but I love the unique packaging of their eye shadows in these cute little spheres. They have a clear bottom half so you can see the color before opening them and the brand has a variety of cosmetics that incorporate flower extracts to provide antioxidant, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory power to protect and nourish the skin. This matte earthy brown shadow is loose so just a little shake with the lid on and a sweep with your favorite brush is all that’s needed to get full coverage chocolate-rose brown color on your lids. This product is full size and retails for $16 each. I have my eye on the other colors Shanghai and Petal, they’re just gorgeous! I don’t have much time to play with shadows while tending to a newborn but I intend on using this as soon as I have more time for makeup!

laritzy-lippy-girl

Lippy Girl Extra Virgin Lip Gloss

As a new breastfeeding mama, I’ve learned how important it is to stay hydrated at all times. The easiest way to tell if I am not drinking enough water? Chapped lips! I was extra happy to see a nourishing lip gloss in my beauty box because there have been days where my lips needed a little help, and some gloss makes me feel a little more put together. Made with shea butter, carnauba wax and a blend of organic oils (tamanu, orange and rosehip), my lips felt soft, moisturized and pretty! It’s a win-win-win. This gloss comes in a generously sized tube and retails for $11 each.

laritzy-juice-beauty

Juice Beauty Green Apple Nutrient Eye Cream

I’m very familiar with Juice Beauty and have used their apple peel products in the past – all with much love. I was pretty stoked to get an eye cream since this mama is tired from round the clock feedings and running on fumes some days. Can we say dark circles galore? A small pump in the AM and PM is all you need to treat the entire eye area (underneath and eyelids) to brighten and firm over time. I know these type of products take time to see results, but I will say this thin, non-greasy cream absorbs into the skin quickly and has a hint of a rose scent to it that isn’t overpowering.

laritzy-deco-miami

Deco Miami Nail Lacquer in Petite Palm

This new brand originates from, you guessed it, Miami and has developed a line of 8-free, vegan nail polishes in fun colors and cute art deco inspired bottles. Petite Palm is a creamy mint color that looks good in two coats. I may need to order myself some other colors because “Slay” and “Miley Whats Good” are totally my style! And at only $9.50 a bottle you can easily order a couple to experiment on your fingers and toes.

I’m a big fan of Laritzy boxes and find that I always enjoy most of the products I receive. You don’t need to break the bank to discover new vegan beauty products, especially when they offer two boxes: the mini and the full size depending on your budget.

They also give great sneak peaks on their Instagram page so you get an idea of what’s in the next box which most subscription services don’t do. To find out more, visit their website and be sure to follow them on social media to get an idea of what’s in store for you!

Do you have any face products that would be good for someone with rosecea.
