New Fall Colors For Your Nails

If you haven’t seen the swatches from the cruelty free luxury nail polish brand Lauren b. Beauty, you are in for a treat today.  The new fall collection features 8 gorgeous shades inspired by memorable spots all over Los Angeles.  With names like “Expresso on 3rd” and “Santa Monica Shutters”, you’d soon catch on to the theme of this set. And of course, we should mention that this line is vegan, eco-conscious and 5-free, making it a safe and healthy option for fashionable finger tips.

Each color shown below is swatched with two coats of polish and sealed with a clear top coat for a ultra glossy finish. Lauren B polishes are known for being chip-resistant and having a long, thin brush that maneuvers easily over the nail bed for a streak-free finish.

Expresso On 3rd – A perfect color for fall with a rich, deep chocolate brown with golden flecks to create shimmer. The picture almost doesn’t do this color justice. If you get to see it in person, move the bottle around in sunlight and you’ll really see what were talking about.

Rose On Robertson – As a fan of rose gold jewelry, I knew this was going to be a favorite for me.  Teetering on the neutral side of polishes, the metallic finish of this polish gives an extra touch of beauty to it.  I love using this as an accent nail polish when I want to stick to a nude look.

Griffith Gaze – When you initially look at this bottle of polish you think it’s a gray-white, but upon closer inspection you see a muted pink-purple-gray-khaki. Insane description but I swear it’s all in there!  Perfect color for a “clean” look.

Silver Lake Speakeasy – A glassy silver-blue that gives a beautiful mirror-like finish.  Another beauty in the bottle, but even BETTER on your nails.

Rose Bowl – A sexy magenta-red with a hint of silver shimmer.  Just look at that sparkle! If this brand ever made a liquid lipstick, THIS, would be the color to start with. Yowza.

Ivy At The Shore – I don’t know why but this color actually makes me think of Christmas time and crushed velvet. It’s a deep, jewel-toned turquoise that has a metallic finish to it.

Hancock Park – I’m a sucker for any type of makeup that’s purple, including this nail polish. This polish is dark in the bottle but vivid on the nail.  It leans more toward a blue-purple than a pink-purple and makes me want to sniff a Mr. Sketch marker, remember those?

Santa Monica Shutters – At first glance it appears to be a white polish but best described as a mother-of-pearl white. Super pretty on and soft looking-not white-out looking.  

All in all I love adding these polishes to my collection.  I absolutely love all the names given to their polishes since they keep a southern California vibe to them.  “L.A Smog” and “Clueless in 90210” speak to me, haha!  To find out more about Lauren b.
