This is the first time I’m trying Le Vin’s face cream and I’m honestly a little bit nervous… looking over the ingredients I am half intrigued and sort of boggled. Why does it contain fragrance? My skin is sort of flaky, sort of oily, classic combination and very sensitive. What if the fragrance it contains causes me to break out? What if it burns or gets into my eyes? I’m sort of a baby when it comes to putting stuff on my face, but I have been in the market for a solid moisturizer that does all the stuff that this claims. I also like the packaging. Upon first open the smell isn’t too bad, and when I touch it I notice is it’s not greasy. It feels thick but it’s also light. Right after the first application I notice that my face feels much softer and more protected, so I am going to suck up my fragrance biases for the sake of beauty and science and go for it.
P.S. I have a little puffy scar on my finger that I am going to test this cream on too. Let’s see if it helps!

I had no idea a month has already gone by! February came and went and it is already springtime and HOT. I have been using the Le Vin cream twice a day as my basic moisturizer and it has really gotten me through the cold, the rain, the wind and the dryness of the changing season. It did not cause me to break out at all. I feel it absorb right away and doesn’t leave an oily residue… it actually feels like it floats right on when I apply it. I don’t have many wrinkles to begin with, but I did notice a change in my smaller wrinkles and skin quality. The larger wrinkles on my forehead didn’t go away, but maybe they will with more time? I think it has improved my overall skin quality and I have noticed smother, plumper skin, especially on my nose and around my lips. It is non-irritating and the slight fragrance doesn’t bother me at all, I actually like it now.
The scar on my finger is still red, but the puffiness has gone down considerably. I don’t know if it’s been the work of time or the application of Le Vin, but I am happy with the positive change! This seems like a good choice if you are looking for something to heal dry or combination skin.
