Have you heard of an ORAC value? It stands for “oxygen radical absorbance capacity” and it’s basically a scale to measure the level of “antioxidant power” of a food or supplement. Antioxidants prevent oxidation of your cells. Oxidation is what causes free radicals – molecules that roam around your body damaging cells and possibly causing degenerative diseases and premature aging. Smoking and sun exposure cause oxidation, so if you’re a smoker who likes to tan, you’re going to look a lot older, more quickly (Jersey Shore anyone?).
If free radicals are like angry, misunderstood teenagers who have access to their parents’ car and a bottle of spray paint, then antioxidants are the big brothers who show them that learning to play guitar will score more chicks than vandalism ever will. Huh? Well, that made sense to me. Anyway, my point is that Lifeoxylin has a high ORAC value of 2,400 per ounce. Each small dose has the nutritional equivalent of 4-6 servings of vegetables.
I am not going to say I loved the flavor of this drink, but it’s not that bad considering the massive quantity of nutrients. If you can drink a shot of booze (and I know you can – I saw you last weekend…), which damages your body, you can certainly drink a swig of this to repair it. One ounce has 20 calories. Just keep it in your fridge and take a drink to your health every day. Your body will thank you for it.
Rock on!

I’ve tried Lifeoxylin Cellular Defense Elixir. I love it!
